PSP again

I've had a little play on Paint Shop Pro and made a couple of things.

This first one is my Nan, she loved Lily-of-the-Valley so I made this -

My Nan was a truly amazing lady, before her eye-sight deteriorated she made hundreds of items of clothing for children for Oxfam. She had her first birthday party aged 90 and on one of her birthdays (her 80th I believe) she went up in an airplane to loop the loop! She lived until 2 months before her 104th birthday and I still miss her everyday.

This Love Bug is so cute and really easy to make, I've made this one from a tutorial HERE

This is an animated one I've been playing around with tonight, nice glittery wings on him -

Finally two signature tags I designed myself :) -

I definitely prefer the gold one but had fun designing them and working out how to make them!

A couple of pictures

Well I think everyone likes 'clock-out' time in work but when you walk home from work the same way I do it makes it doubly nice. Here are a couple of pictures from my recent walk home -

I had the intention of feeding the swans but there were so many seagulls around they were frightening the swans, better luck next time I hope.
I know I've said it before but I am so lucky I live where I do!

Word clouds

I haven't made any craft things recently as I've been trying to tidy up my pc, sorting everything out into folders, getting rid of any rubbish and duplicate photos and putting everything I can on Photobucket.
Before I started the mass 'clean-up' I made a couple of word clouds. These two are for my son and his girlfriend -

This next one I made for my mum, I wasn't sure if she would like it but I'm so glad she does  -

This is one I made of my dog -

Finally, this is one my eldest grandaughter made for me and I love it ♥♥♥ -

I'm afraid that's all for now but I really haven't been up to much lately :(

PSP animations that I have been learning

I have been playing around and learning how to do things on Paint Shop Pro recently, I use PSP X6 and JASC Animation Shop 3. Here are some of my finished projects -

The first one is the Underwater effect from Dragon's Breath. A very effective effect and a very easy to follow tutorial. I have a lot of photos from various aquariums which I can use this on.

This second one is the Vanish animation which is, again, from Dragon's Breath. I like this one and found it equally as easy to follow -

Vanish Animation

This is one I made from a photo I took at Blue Reef Aquarium on my grandsons first birthday -

This next one is Rain without plugins I have real problems with plugins as an awful lot won't work with PSP X6 sadly. I have used a photo of my dog who in real life hates the rain and will do anything to not go out in it (I love the way his harness has slipped down his body on this picture) -

Rain Animation

This last one is a snow globe which I made following two tutorials, Hypergurl and PSP Buddies. I love these little globes, so pretty -

I haven't watermarked any of these images but please do not copy them :)

A nice day

A few weeks ago I went to the park with my two grandaughters, we had a lovely afternoon and even got to feed the squirrels who were happy to come remarkably close to us. This is the digital scrapbook page I made of the afternoon (backing paper and elements are from Computer Scrapbook
they have lots to choose from and they are all excellent) -

DIgital scrapbook...another page complete

I've had another stab at digital scrapbooking this week and I like what I made. Last year I decided to start my family tree and found three of my ancestors died at sea in the last world war and are named on the war memorial on Plymouth Hoe so I decided to make the photo's I took into a digital page -

Paint Shop Pro

I haven't made any cards today but I have been having fun playing with my Paint Shop Pro. Here are a couple of the things I have made -

I love fairies and flowers

When I have made all the cards for the dogs I am determined to learn how to do more with PSP, I know so little but there are so many things you can do with it!

Happy Anniversary!

Not a bad day today, 6 cards made, the two Baby Boy ones and I have made some wedding anniversary cards too. I have used the X-Cut 'Delicate Flourishes' embossing folder, the medium flower dies and the small Poinsettia die both from Britannia Dies. For the centre of the flowers I always use glitter glue. I think the silver ones are my favourites (I have made two of each colour) -

Silver
I'm back to work next week so won't be able to get a lot done but I still need to print off some inserts for the cards and I have a swap card to make for one of the Yahoo groups I'm on.

Baby boy

The last post was baby girl cards these are the baby boy cards. I have used the same dies - Rock a bye baby and rocking horse dies from Tattered lace. I prefer these to the girl cards, I think the blue is a lot nicer. Here they are -

Now what shall I do next?

Baby girl

I have managed to make 2 more cards, this time they are baby girl ones. I wasn't sure about them but then I added the peel offs and it makes all the difference :-) -

These two dies are from Tattered Lace and are beautiful. I have no idea who makes the peel offs though.
Now to make the baby boy cards.

Sunny day again

I haven't made any cards for a few days but the weather was so lovely again today I thought I would take the dog for a nice run (he runs, I walk!). He started out running like a dog possessed for a few minutes then alternated between running around and having a lovely sniff around. Sadly we had to cut the fun short because the council came along to cut the grass so we carried on and went for a walk instead -
I'm not going to look at you!
Still not going to look at you!
I know there's rabbits here somewhere
Is she calling me to give me food?
No, it's time to go :(

A day out in Plymouth

It was such a lovely day yesterday I decided to go with my eldest grandaughter onto Plymouth Hoe, it was boiling hot already by 9am! We started out by sitting by Smeatons Tower and looking out to sea at the boats going by -

My reason for going on the Hoe was to find and photograph the names of three of my ancestors who had died in the last war, their names are among thousands on the Naval Memorial there. Luckily I had their plaque numbers so was able to find them easily -

After having a lovely ice-cream on the Barbican we strolled across the footbridge and went into the Aquarium which is the largest aquarium in the UK. I took some photos and here are a few of them -

Seahorses first, my grandaughter loves these and I have to say, they are very sweet

Say 'Cheese!', a shark giving me a lovely? toothy grin

Clown Fish, always so pretty to see

Sleeping octopus, yesterday was the first time we have seen him as he's usually hidden in some rocks!

Jellyfish, these always look stunning!

Anemone, very pretty.

As usual I didn't get the names of anything I took pictures of :-( hopefully I will remember next time!

More white cards

I have made some more cards for the dogs, I've done some more 'white' and 'white with a touch of colour' cards as I do like these a lot. I have used the medium flower die from Britannia Dies for all the flowers and the small, medium and large Poinsettia dies for the leaves also from Britannia Dies.

These are Just For You -

These two are With Love -

This one is On Your Day -

and this last one is a Thank You -

Blue Reef Aquarium day out.

On May 1st my grandson Riley had his first birthday, we were asked if we wanted to go to Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay with his mum (my daughter), dad, big sister and a couple of their friends. Of course we said we would love to go!
We all had a lovely day and even managed to go on the beach for a little while.
As usual I have taken photos without noting what the fish are but here are a few of my favourite pictures -

This lovely chappie greets you before you go into see the fish.

Two starfish -

Two cuttlefish, strange looking but I like them -

This shrimp is beautiful (apologies for my finger in the corner of the picture though) -

This is one strange looking fish!

One of my grandaughters favourites -

This colours of this starfish are stunning!

Weird but pretty -

These were a gorgeous bright blue colour, brighter than they look in this picture -

Corals and anemones -

Hermit crab saying hello -

If you get the chance to go to the Blue Reef Aquarium take it, it's a lovely place.
