Had another try at the last scrapbook page this morning, still not happy with it so I think I'll leave it for a few days until I can find what I really want on it. As I can't find a photo corner that I like on it I thought I would make a digi brad and put them in the corners. I still don't like it though. Here's the updated version -

Maybe some sun shaped brads would look nicer, I really don't know at the moment.

Saltram

Not working tonight
I have had a try tonight at another digi scrapbook layout but it's just not working for me :( The only things I like about it are the photo's, the writing around the edges and the background colour.
I don't like the colour of the photo corners or the other bits of writing but my imagination really doesn't want to work tonight so I guess I'd better go off to bed as I am back to work tomorrow after a lovely long 10 days off...:( lol

Thank you for reading :)

We have had a few nice sunny days this summer and on one of these days I decided to take my dog, Gilbert, to Saltram for a bit of a walk. Last night I  made a digi scrapbook page of our outing using Paint Shop Pro.
Here it is -

It's such a beautiful place I wanted the focus to be on the pictures not on any decor.

Thank you for reading :)
I like to try different things and, once again, trawled the internet and Hobbycraft for things to do. I found an easy way to make bathbombs online so gave them a try...they're great fun to make as you can add perfumes and petals etc. Here's the link to the YouTube instructions that I found - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWiQoQUt0AY and here's how two of mine turned out -

They are both scented with Jasmine oil (my favourite smell), I can't remember what I used for the first one but the second one I used rose petals. They fizz well and I love making and using these.
I also 'discovered' wax melts and made some of these too - Jasmine scented, of course :)

In Hobbycraft I found some Melt and Pour soap - Melt and pour soap, a beeswax candle kit and some Candy melts - Candy melts  so these were my next projects.
My relaxing bath kit -

When I had enough phone cases I decided to look for other things that I could decorate so trawled through eBay and Amazon for ideas. I suffer with IBS so figured a pill box would be a good idea, as it is a small item I only put one item on there -

It's very scratched and because it's not a very good pill case it doesn't get used any more sadly.
The next thing I found to decorate was a credit card holder. This is another thing I don't like as I was a bit heavy handed with the glue and it spilled out from under the decoration...plus any cards I have I prefer to have in my purse. Here it is though -
I like the lady and cat so they'll be ripped off the case and reused on something else.

These last two are cigarette cases/business card holders etc. These I like and use often -

I like the pink one best, happy memories of being on a merry-go-round.

That's all my decorated items, thank you for reading :)

Hello, I'm Sharon and this is my first blog :)
I wanted a case for my phone but had fifty fits when I saw the price (yes, I'm a bit of a scrooge!) so decided to make my own. I found a great seller on Amazon and a few great sellers of things I could decorate the cases with on Amazon and eBay so got started. Not only can I have the colour I want I can also have exactly what I want on the case which was ideal. The glue I used for the bigger items was nail glue, yes fingernail glue, it was great and nothing ever fell off the cases despite going in and out of my bag and pockets and everything else was stuck on using PVA.
Here are a few of my favourites -

Well that's my phone cases, I hope you like them :)
